New York, July 1, 2019–Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP announced today that Sarah Stasny is joining the firm as a partner in the Corporate Department, resident in the New York office. Ms. Stasny’s practice focuses on advising private equity sponsors and portfolio companies in connection with their acquisitions and investments, divestitures, joint ventures, financings, restructurings and other corporate matters.

Ms. Stasny’s clients have included many of the leading private equity funds and their portfolio companies, as well as pension plans and hedge funds. She has led scores of acquisitions, dispositions, consortium arrangements and substantial minority investments, representing clients such as Altas Partners, American Securities, Avista Capital Partners, EQT Infrastructure, Trilantic North America and Two Sigma, among others. Ms. Stasny has also acted for some of the world’s most active pension funds in their major investments, including Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, OMERS Private Equity and Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan.
Ms. Stasny is recognized by Chambers USA and Chambers Global in the Private Equity: Buyouts area. She earned her J.D. from The University of Texas at Austin School of Law and her B.A. from The University of Texas at Austin.
