Joel 2:24Hello Everyone!

It is hard to believe that we are already half way through April 2018! For me, it seems like January was just yesterday as this year has been so full of God’s blessings that the time has simply gotten away from us! I would first like to apologize for not getting this newsletter out to you all sooner, but as I said, we have been very busy with Father’s business and time simply flew past us! Second, I would like to thank you all for your continued support through prayer, counsel, and finances. There are not words to describe how much we appreciate each one of you for the way that you love Papa by loving us and the work that He has for us to do!

This is an exciting time as we are about to finally step into the dream that God gave so many years ago with the closing of the sale of the school building happening this Friday, April 20, 2018!!! While this purchase is certainly a huge victory for the Kingdom, the real work now begins! There are renovations to do, staff to hire, utilities to pay, and gardens to plant as we begin to prepare the land to receive our valued residents. With all of this in mind it would be easy to be overwhelmed by the magnitude of what God has asked us to do here, but the truth is exactly this—GOD asked us to partner with HIM to do this work in the earth and we are convinced that HE will continue to supply every need according to HIS riches in glory!!! Your prayers are coveted as we lock eyes with Daddy and move forward into this work! Please do not hesitate to email us with your prayer needs, as we already pray for each of you daily and would value any specific requests you may have! Word of the Lord for 2018…Healing Springs Gathering Launch

As we approached the end of 2017, all the wonderful exploits that the Father did here in PA amongst us were absolutely mind blowing! We knew that 2018 would be even more audacious then the previous year. With our faith being in full expectancy for the elementary school, the

first future home for Missions Homes, Sister Paula began to hear from the Lord about the region and community around us. From this beautiful exchange, the Lord began to show her this land and many others. He began to reveal His desire to breakup the fallowed ground and spring forth what has been stored underneath that has been dormant for so long—ultimately His plan to invade the earth with His glory & presence, restore the places of the desolation, and bring hope to the downcast. This is where the Word of 2018 was birthed and released on New Year’s Eve.

We know that whenever the Lord gives a vision for something so big, He also gives instruction in how we should steward and advance. This is how Healing Springs Gathering came to be! The verse that the Lord gave Sister Paula for Healing Springs is, Isaiah 41:18, “I will open rivers in desolate heights, and fountains in the midst of the valleys; I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water.” He has called Healing Springs Gathering to be a safe environment where individuals can be equipped and trained. This is also a way for the surrounding community to be in contact and fellowship with us without compromising the privacy of the Missions Homes Facility. This has already been a key to reaching our neighbors and will soon be the group that goes out in street evangelism. We meet weekly on Saturdays and the Holy Spirit shows up in power every time. There have been manifestations of healing, deliverance, prophecy, holy laughter, wailing and travailing, and gold dust. We are truly excited for what the Lord has done already and for what is on the horizon for this faithful gathering of hungry ones!

The New Board of DirectorsFrom the beginning, the Father has put amazing individuals around us that are in full agreement with the vision and operations of Joel 2 Missions. Proverbs 11:14 says “Where there is no counsel, the people fall; But in the multitude if counselors there is safety.” We have both men and women who have hearts to see Joel 2 Missions become all that the Father plans. This amazing group of people represent and outstanding 126 years of full-time ministry experience and approximately 20 years of clinical experience. Please keep these individuals covered in prayer, knowing that they are standing with Joel 2 on the frontlines. We are so honored by these outstanding Brothers and Sisters in the Faith walking this out with Joel 2 Missions. As of March 15th, we had our first Board Meeting and it was amazing! Full Board meetings are scheduled quarterly and the Executive Board (Paula, Candice, Mike, and Rose) will meet monthly. We are truly blessed and excited for the journey ahead!!

Mentor GroupSince the move to PA in September 2017, Sister Paula has had a prompting to start a mentoring group with ladies here. However, timing is so important when community is involved. It wasn’t until March 18th that we had our first Mentor meeting. During this time together, we shared a meal and Sister Paula talked about the requirements that went along with being mentored. Some of the qualifications for this mentor program are monthly Potlucks, alternate weekly meetings with Sister Paula on Spiritual Instructions/Guidance and Sister Candice for Practical Life Coaching/Planning, weekly/biweekly attendance of Healing Springs Gathering, and participation in training classes. So far, we have been blessed to meet with 5 beautiful ladies in this season. We are truly excited to see what the Lord does in these meetings and the growth & transformation that these ladies will undergo!

Volunteer TrainingSince relocating Joel 2 Missions to PA, Sister Paula has been asked to do training sessions on Inner Healing and Deliverance. As we step closer to possessing the Missions Homes Facility, there are many reasons for us to move forward in doing these training sessions. We recognize that we need many hands to make light the load and guarantee that every person that steps on the property to volunteer has the same knowledge when it comes to the women and children that we will be serving. On April 27-29th we will be having Part 1 boot camp weekend of the Volunteer Training, which will focus on Inner Healing and Deliverance. Our Part 2 boot camp weekend will be on June 1-3rd and will consist of PTSD, Crisis Management, and Rules & Regulations for the property. Faith Assembly of God in Uniontown, PA has agreed to host us for both training weekends! We are so grateful and thankful for this church and Senior Pastor Jason Lamer for partnering with the vision of Joel 2 Missions and opening their doors to the training times! With Volunteer training right around the corner, please be praying for the attendees and us with all the work that goes into these events. Also, due to costs of printing and making manuals, there is a fee for this training. However, there are many who would be excellent volunteers but do not have funds available. It is not too late to prayerfully consider sponsoring someone for this training. Jubilee News Joel 2 Missions, Inc. was honored to

be headlined on Jubilee Newspaper here in the Monongahela Valley for this April’s printing! Hazel Palmer, the founder of Jubilee News called Sister Paula in March. From that phone interview, Sister Hazel felt led to feature Joel 2 and asked Sister Paula to be a continual contributor to the newspaper as a writer. We are

so thankful for the opportunity to be introduced to the community around us and have the Ministry broadcasted up and down the Monongahela Valley!!

Building Closing!!After all the praying, interceding, worshiping, meeting local township officials, and jumping through many hoops, we will be signing the sales agreement and receiving the keys to the school this month!! Praise the Lord!! It is time to celebrate!! Thank you for your prayers and standing with us through this journey, we couldn’t do this without you!! And this is just the beginning!

An Updated Summary: The building is 48,000 square feet and on 8.6 acres. This will give us the ability to house 100-150 women and children all for just $3.33 per day per person! With the purchase of the property, we have been blessed with the funds to get the deed and utilities transferred. Now we need the funding to keep the utilities on for at least one quarter and supplies to open the doors. We still need at least $100,000 to move forward. How many of you know that the favor of God is better than money any day? We know that our Papa “own[s] the cattle on a thousand hills” (Psalm 50:10) and that He “shall supply all our need[s] according to His riches in glory” (Philippians 4:19), and we would like to give you the opportunity to be a vessel that He uses to do just that! You are invited to partner with us in this amazing journey of bringing the Kingdom of Heaven to earth! FUTURE SITE OF MISSIONS HOMESA Some Upcoming Events:

1. Stomp the Park featuring Joel 2 Missions- We were attempting to partner with Stomp the Park for this event in November of this year, but due to schedule conflicts on both sides we have postponed this event until August 2018. This will be the perfect opportunity for us to bless our community and introduce Joel 2 Missions to the area. We are looking forward to partnering with the Stomp the Park Team for this dynamic event.

2. Heart of Homes Fundraiser Banquet- This event will give Joel 2 Missions the chance to raise funds, awareness, and partner with ministries that we work with in LA, PA, and NC. The Banquet will be happening in October 2018 as October is known for Domestic Violence Awareness Month. This is a huge undertaking of coordinating and planning and anyone who feels called to help, please let us know! With the success of the first Heart for Homes Fundraiser that was held in Wilmington in July 2016, we are excited to see what the Lord will do during this event!
