Trevor McKinney

He had a very absorbent mind. He was ready to listen to anyone. Fortunately, the right person came along to guide him. Mr. Simonet gave him an assignment to change the world. Trevor created a unique concept called ‘Pay it Forward’. It consists of doing a large favor for 3 different people, and like a pyramid, spreading the word to each of them to do favors for 3 other strangers.

Eugene Simonet

He is Trevor’s Social Studies teacher, had great intentions for the world. He gave his class an assignment that involved changing the world for the better, but perhaps because of fear of doing it himself. In his relationship with Arlene, he showed great fear almost all of the time. This was due to his inability to let go of his past.

Arlene McKinney

She is Trevor’s mom, she is hoping for a better future. She worked 2 “informal” jobs, just to support Trevor and herself after her ex husband Ricky left her. When Ricky came back into her life, she took him back, because she was hoping for a return to normalcy. She preferred certainty in a bad relationship over uncertainty in a good relationship but this changes at the end of the movie.

Chris Chandler

He is a very inquisitive reporter. He was willing to drive a long distance, just to find out information about a story but this story will not make him any money. Chris was a very proactive person, only needing his own approval to take a certain action. His curiosity drove him to commit a good deed.

Time line Its Trevor´s first day of seventh

grade.

He has a social studies class with Mr. Simonet and he gave him an

assignment.

For his assignment he crated

something called “pay it forward”

The first person he tried to help was jerry a

homeless he took him home and gave him

food and money

Jerry failed what Trevor wanted him to do so he

is going to help Mr. Simonet next.

Trevor made Mr. Simonet to go to his house to eat with his

mother.

Mr.Simonet and Arlene started to

date.

Trevor´s dad Ricky returns so Arlene leaves Mr. Simonet to give his

husband a second chance.

Mr. Simonet got mad and thinks is not a good idea because he is going

to hurt her again.

Trevor tried to help his friend Adam with some bullies but he

couldnt.

At the same time Chandler is investigating about who started with

“pay it forward”.In the end Trevor finally

helped Adam but the bullies killed him with a knife.

A lot of people went to Trevor´s house to put

canddles.
