MobileClock App

The TimeClock Plus® MobileClock app allows employees to log into TimeClock Plus and perform clock operations, view hours, and submit time-off requests via an app on Android™ or Apple® smartphones and tablet devices.

The MobileClock app is downloadable from Google Play™ and the Apple App Store®. To find it, simply search for "TimeClock Plus," choose MobileClock, and install it like you would any other app.

Compatibility

● Android version 4.4 ("KitKat") or higher.● iOS version 8 or higher for iPhone® and iPad®.

Installation instructions will be posted on the Payroll and Benefits page under Forms and Resources.

Geofences Each district location is set up with a “geofence”, and you will not be allowed to clock in/out using the App if you are outside the “fence”.

Users of the App will have to enable location access on their mobile device to allow for GPS tracking.

To view images of the Geofences, go to Configuration=>Geofencing, and click on either Geofences or Geofence Groups.

You can see geographically where your employee was when they clocked in/out by opening the time segment and clicking the Location button.

A “pin” drops at the GPS location, one for Clocked In and one for Clocked Out (if the mobile app is used for both punches).

Keep in mind that GPS is only as accurate as the mobile carrier’s satellite system. You might actually be inside the “fence”, but the satellite might think you are still in the parking lot. Keep waking toward the center of the Geofence to allow catch up.

Using TCP for Supplemental JobsThe use of the MobileClock app will allow greater flexibility and options for adding supplemental jobs in TCP. Managing supplemental jobs in TCP will reduce the risk of overlapping pay and contribute to faster processing time.

Considerations for the addition of Supplemental Jobs:● Is the Supplemental Job funded by a grant? If so, time sheets

must continue to be used for Time and Effort requirements.● Who normally signs the time sheet? Are they a TCP Manager?

If so, are they willing to approve the time in TCP rather than sign a timesheet? If not, are they willing to become a TCP Manager?

To add a supplemental job to TCP, email the EPAR # to your Payroll and Benefits Specialist, or Payroll@dysart.org.

Once a supplemental job is added to an employee in TCP, it will appear in a list when clocking in. The employee should clock in to the appropriate job for the time worked and the Manager should double check when approving and make corrections if necessary.

Job Code Filters to Include/Exclude Supplemental Jobs

In Individual Hours, click Job Code Filter, then click Select from list and toggle to Include or Exclude. Check the box for the Job Codes you wish to Filter (Tip: all Supplementals are in the 6000 range). Click Save As to name and save your filter, then click Filter. Later you can click the Load button to load your saved filters.
