Use the following table to record HTTPS information:

1.5 Stop Informatica Services. Stop Informatica Services on each node in the PowerCenter domain.

For more information about the pre-installation tasks, see the PowerCenter Installation Guide.

Step 2. Upgrade PowerCenter2.1 Upgrade PowerCenter. Run the installer to upgrade PowerCenter. Select the option to upgrade the node to run a single version or multiple versions of the application services. If you upgrade the node to run multiple versions of the application services, you must upgrade to a new directory.

Use the following table to record the installation directory.

For more information about upgrading PowerCenter, see the PowerCenter Installation Guide.

Step 3. Complete the Post-Installation Tasks3.1 Prepare Metadata Manager for upgrade. Back up the Metadata Manager repository database.

3.2 Configure environment variables. Configure environment variables for PowerCenter Services, database client, library path, locale, Java components, and libstdc++.so.5.

Use the following table to record environment variable values.
