Read and choose the correct answers.

The death of John Kennedy, President of the USA, was the most famous assassination of th

twentieth century. On Friday, 22 November 1963, thousands of people were standing in the

streets of Dallas, Texas. They were waiting to see the President. He was visiting Texas with

his wife, Jackie.

At 2.30pm, the President and his wife were riding in a car along the streets in Dallas. They

were smiling at the people when, suddenly, somebody shot Kennedy. He died fifteen minute

later. The police arrested Lee Harvey Oswald for the crime. Two days later, the police were taking Oswald to the

police station when a man called Jack Ruby shot and killed him.

The police never found the assassin of President Kennedy.
