SADTU MEMBERSHIP MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

SADTU continues to seek ways to achieve better efficiency in servicing membersin appreciation of the first pillar of the 2030 Vision. The Union is working towardsestablishing a new cellular phone-based membership management system.

The platform will make it significantly easier for members to access all Union services.It will provide them with information in relation to e-Iearning opportunities and will fur­ther lower costs of communication for those who will acquire a Union branded mobilephone sim card. New teachers and education workers applying for membership will beable to use the online system and trace their membership application forms to speedup registration.

Members can use the system to report incidents such as harassment, lodge grievances,report shortages of LTSM, etc. It will further enhance communication between the unionmembers more especially in critical times when the Union is seeking mandate duringnegotiations. They will use it to vote. Surveys on members will be conducted using thesystem.
