AUSSTELLER/EXHIBITORSgreen IT WORLD 2009
This year, green IT world puts the spotlight on business models proven to be economically successful and en-vironmentally sound. The key role that the ICT industry plays in regard to future investment continues to be increasingly important. ICT allows companies to opti-mize business processes and communications, thereby tapping substantial gains in effi ciency – environmen-tally and economically.
The green IT World has organized and oriented its themes specifi cally toward this awareness, while also highlighting solutions, strategies, and products for various application areas.

The main event of the green IT World will be the Forum featuring presentations and discussion rounds with preeminent representatives from the industrial realm. The highlight will be the 3rd annual joint conference of the BMU, UBA, and BITKOM (German association for information technology, telecommunications and new media) on the topic of “Sustainability in the Digital World”, to be opened by Sigmar Gabriel, the German Minister for the Environment.
The Forum’s agenda was developed in close coordination with BITKOM, BMU and UBA. The presentations at the Forum are geared toward the most signifi cant subject areas currently of interest. They will also give companies ideas on how doing business in an environmentally and economically sound manner can be further developed and optimized through the use of ICT technologies.
The complete agenda will be communicated before the trade fair and then updated daily at the event via various media (Internet, trade fair newsletter, info brochure, information screens, and so on).
Dienstag, 3.
