Assembly—Grade 8 Y
On Wednesday,13thMarch, Grade 8y presented an assembly on Bullying. An introduction on the topic by Kieran was followed by a short skit on the effects of bullying. The interesting aspect of this skit was the unconventional presentation of the act of bullying amongst the girls. The skit was followed by some thoughts shared by the students on Bullying: Why do bullies bully? What is the role of the Spectators? What are the effects of bullying on the victim? The thoughts shared in the assembly was a combined effort of Anushka and Nikhil of Grade 8y. Such
questions led to an open discussion with the Middle School students on the issue.
