Executive summary of achieved results: A workshop has been organized in Lisbon on November 23d-‐25th, 2015 on Magnetic probes for neural investigation & Magnetic modelling of neurons.
Description of the work
1. Overall description. The workshop has been hosted at the Academy of Sciences of Portugal in Lisbon. It has included oral presentations as well as a poster session. The oral sessions have been: -‐ Sensors for large/medium scale measurement -‐ Sensors for local measurements -‐ Stimulating the brain-‐ TMS and tDCS -‐ Modelling -‐ Magnetic recordings Amongst the 34 participants, 14 were students or post-‐doctoral fellows. Six speakers were invited, 2 of them (Mavi Sanchez and Patrick Ruther) from two FP7-‐FET programs (Corticonic and Neuroseeker). Three talks have been presented by PhD student or post-‐docs. Participants were coming from USA, UK, Germany, Finland, Spain, Portugal, Finland and France.

3. Workshop dissemination A booklet of abstract has been distributed to all participants, as well as the contact list of participants. A large part of the presentations have been shared amongst the participants. Some pictures of the events have been posted on the website.

Conclusions We have organized a workshop on a topics related to those investigated in the Magnetrodes project. This two-‐and-‐half days event has allowed presenting the scientific output of the project, as well to have talk for renowned speakers in the field. This workshop has allowed many discussions and drawn pathways for future collaborations.
