Dance fitness to music
A fifty minute session of mini dance fitness/ routines to music. Combined with floor exercises for fun “Top to toe” fitness class.
Available for Year 8 and above.

Aquatics Club Venue: AGS Swimming Pool (meet at Turnfurlong gate)

Further Information:
This after school club is for Year 7 students who may want to improve their swimming skills, fitness or try a range of new aquatic activities. All abilities welcome. The club is led by Year 10 & 11 Trained ASA Aquatic Leaders, with qualified AHS PE/Swimming staff and Lifeguards on poolside.
AHS Swimming Teams
Junior, Inter and Senior Swimming Teams from Years 7-13 enter the ESSA Secondary Schools Swimming Relay Champs. Regional rounds at Woodside Leisure Centre on Friday 13th October 2016, with the National Finals taking place on Saturday 18th November 2017 at the London Aquatic Centre!

You will receive a letter via ParentMail giving details of the club. Payment for the club for each term is made on ParentMail. Bring Swimming kit (costume, towel, goggles and water). A Swim AHS cap will be provided. Limited avail-ability.

All students are welcome at the training sessions, there is usually a variety of abilities from participation to elite.
Badminton teams are entered in the Aylesbury league (Years 7-10) and the English Schools competitions (Years 7-11).

Join in with this exciting way to get fit. The Year 10 Girls’ Ac-tive group trialled this at the Guttman centre and thought you would love it. The club is a mix of cardio and toning ex-ercises. A great all round body workout which aids both cardio vascular and muscular strength systems.

Fencing is a sport that is open to all wannabe Musketeers and can be adapted to suit all levels and abilities. The main purpose of the ses-sions will be to get girls to gain some age-appropriate fencing experi-ence and have fun. The girls will be using modified fencing equip-ment in the first session. They just need to wear normal sport kit. In the second session the older girls have progressed onto the full equipment and in this term will be given the opportunity to start working on the fencing award scheme. Please wear long sleeved top and bottoms.

If your daughter would like to take part in this exciting fencing oppor-tunity, please book her place on ParentMail for either the Wednes-day Session 1 or Wednesday Session 2. If you have been able to pay online that will be confirmation of your daughter’s place and she will then need to turn up at the relevant sessions. Further Information:
Attendance at trials are necessary for selection for squad
training. All teams are entered in the Aylesbury netball
league and will play fixtures against other schools from
Sept-March ending in an end of season tournament. Years
7-10 have two teams and Year 11 and Seniors have one.

Year 7 trials are scheduled for Monday 11 and Tuesday 12 September after school 3:45-4:30 both days.
Year 8 trials are set for Wednesday 13 September after school 3:45-4:30

House Netball is an inter form competition that is run on a
Monday lunch time. Each Year 7 House enters a netball
team (minimum 7 players) and comes along to play games
against other Houses.

Competitions entered
AHS Cross- Country Team – Friendlies v Cottesloe, Thornton Col-lege, Park Runs, Harrow School races, County Championships and ESAA county, regional & national finals. In 2015 both teams reached the National Finals. This year’s National Finals are on 3 December in Formby.

'Change 4 Life' - Come and Play club. All students welcome, participation to elite. Relaxed atmosphere, often music playing in the background. Students dictate focus of ses-sions in terms skills or small sided / full court games. If there are students who are keen to train and compete in matches against other local schools this is also a possibility.
Also an excellent activity for Bronze, Silver or Gold D of E
