St. Anthony’s Parish has accepted to sponsor a young family from the Ivory
Coast. Jerome, his wife Louise, 4 year old daughter, Mien and 9 month old
daughter, Miendey will be arriving in approximately 2 weeks. This young family
faced persecution and cannot return to their home country. They have been
living in a tent in the Ampain Refugee Camp in Ghana.
We have posted an “Items Needed List” in the church foyer and ask that you
please sign up asap. As many times before, let our “Faith Community” at St.
Anthony’s continue to rise to the task by carrying on the Franciscan Spirit and
“Welcoming the Stranger”. Help us to turn a 2 bedroom apartment into a
“home” for this beautiful family.
