get married and asks his brother Spike to travel from Needles, California, to be the ‘Best Beagle’ at his wedding. At

first Snoopy is excited, but he soon becomes so nervous that he cannot enjoy his own bachelor party. Finally, the big

day arrives. . .but where is the bride? Will Snoopy’s heart be broken, or will he rejoice in remaining a bachelor?

Peanuts Gang’s Christmas pageant, but they don’t take him seriously. Can Charlie Brown, with Linus’ help, find a

good Christmas tree…and the true meaning of Christmas?

11:15 am • It’s a Mystery, Charlie Brown Woodstock’s fancy new nest disappears and Snoopy, donning a Sherlock Holmes outfit, sets out to find it. The

suspects are Charlie Brown, then Lucy and Linus, and finally Peppermint Patty, but there’s not enough evidence to

point the finger at any of them. Back at Woodstock’s tree, Snoopy spots footprints leading from the tree to the

elementary school. Through an open window, Snoopy and Woodstock climb into the school and find Woodstock’s

nest under a glass display case. Woodstock is overjoyed and grateful to find his home

but the mystery is not solved. Who took Woodstock’s nest?

11:45 am • TV Land Legends: 60 Minutes Interview Extended version of Schulz’s 60 Minutes interview with Steve Kroft from October 31,

1999, in which he celebrates the 50th anniversary of his comic strip, Peanuts. Among

the topics they discuss is why Charlie Brown has never kicked the football and

Snoopy’s evolution into a beagle who can do anything from being a flying ace to

playing baseball. Also, Schulz recalls proposing marriage to a red-haired girl named

Donna Johnson. (originally aired October 19, 2003 ● 30 minutes)

12:15 pm • It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown This Emmy Award-nominated special finds the Peanuts Gang outfitted in costumes, ready for trick or treating and

Violet’s Halloween party. Charlie Brown is in a ghost costume (with more eyeholes cut out than needed), Lucy is

dressed as a witch and Snoopy makes his television debut as the World War I Flying Ace. While the rest of the Gang

goes Trick-or-Treating, Linus convinces Sally to wait with him in the most sincere pumpkin patch for the Great

Pumpkin. (originally aired October 27, 1966 ● 30 minutes)

2:00 pm • Cartoonist Nathan Hale Cartoonist Nathan Hale will talk about his work and share an exclusive and hazardous tale from his graphic novel

series Nathan Hale’s Hazardous Tales. Hale is the illustrator of the graphic novel Rapunzel’s

Revenge, which was an Al Roker Book Club for Kids selection, an ALA Notable Book, and a

YALSA Great Graphic Novel for Teens. Hale will sign books after his talk.
