From Fabric 1, cut:1 — 9" x 9" square6 — 3½" x 3½" squares

Fabric 2MAS114-G1 yd

From Fabric 2, cut:2 — 8 ½ " x 8 ½" then cut both of them once on the diagonal to create 4 triangles2 — 1 ½" x 9" strips2 — 1 ½" x 11" strips⅝ yd — binding & back

From Fabric 3, cut:8 — 3 ½" x 13" strips

Fabric 4MAS114-S¼ yd

From Fabric 4, cut:4 — 3 ½" x 13" strips

1. Sew a 1 ½" strip of the Dark Green Print to top and bottom of each side of the 9" Cream Floral square.

2. Then sew (2) more strips to each side. This makes the narrow border around the center block.

3. Sew (4) of the 3 ½" cream squares to (4) of the 3 ½" x 13" red strips.

4. Sew (2) of the 3 ½" cream squares to (2) of the 3 ½" x 13" Gold strips.

5. Follow the diagram below (Fig 1.) to assemble the peices and sections in the order as numbered.

6. The diagram below (Fig. 2) shows all of the completed piecing. The dashed lines show where to trim the extra fabric to square up the runner.

7. Layer the top, right side up, over the batting and backing, wrong sides up. Baste layers to secure. Quilt as desired. Square up and trim away the excess batting and backing. Bind and enjoy!
