posts) Recruitment Rules, 1989, in so far as they relate to the post of Hindi Translator is concerned, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the Central Government hereby makes the following rules regulating the method of recruitment to Group 'A' and 'B' Hindi Posts in the Central Administrative Tribunal,

namely: -

I. Short title and commencement.- (1)These rules may be called the Central Administrative Tribunal (Group 'A' and 'B' Hindi Posts) Recruitment Rules.

2015. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official

Gazette. 2. Number of posts, classification, pay band and grade pay or pay scale.- The number of the said posts, their classification and the pay band and grade pay or pay scale attached thereto shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the Schedule annexed

to these rules.

5. Power to relax.- Where the Central Government is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do, he may, by order and for reasons to be recorded in writing, relax any of the provisions of these rules in respect of any class or category of persons.

6. Saving.- Nothing in these rules shall affect reservation, relaxation of age and other concessions required to be provided for the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes, the Other Backward Classes, the Ex servicemen and other special categories of persons, in accordance with orders issued by the Central Government from time to time in this regard.

Hindi or English, with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as a medium of examination at the degree level ; or

Master's degree of a recognised University in any subject other than Hindi or Engl i sh, with Hindi and English as compul sory or elective subj ects or either of the two as a medium of examination and the other as a compul sory or elective subject at the degree level

(ii) three years' experience of using or applying terminology (terminological work) in Hindi and translation work from Engl ish to Hindi or vice-versa, preferably of technical or scientific l iterature under Central Government or State Governments or autonomous body or statutory organisations or public sector undertakings or Universities or recognised research or educational institutions; or three years' experi ence of teaching in Hindi and Engli sh or research in Hindi or English under Central Government or State Governments or autonomous body or statutory organisations or public sector undertakings or Universities or recognised research or educational institutions .

Note 1 : The departmental officer in the feeder category who is in the di rect line of promotion shall not be el igible for appointment on deputation. Simi larly a deputationist in the Central Administrative Tribunal shall not be eligib l e for consideration for promotion .

Note 2 : The period of deputation including the period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in same of some oth er organi sation or department of the C entral Government shal l ordi narily not exceed three years .

Note 3 : The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall not be exceed ing 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of appl ication .
