Student PerspectivesIs there anything you would change about the peer review process?

"Comments from peers weren't always very helpful or related".

"Make it mandatory, in that out feedback is graded and goes toward our final grade".

"I think that it is a waste of time, people don’t understand what they should be writing in a review. if this process is to continue maybe some classes on how to review others work would be helpful".

Student PerspectivesIs there anything you would change about the peer review process?

"I think there was some confusion in exactly what review is. Most peer comments were agreeable, complimentary but did not pose further considerations or aspects not investigated by the first person discussing.”

"I think it is a waste of time, so people's feedback is just like 'well done' how is that constructive!”

“Some people are very reluctant to offer tips or advice as it may be taken as criticism".

Student PerspectivesDo you believe the peer review process contributed to an improvement in your draft case study? Result : 58.5%

"It takes time to review a peers work and for them to review yours. Unfortunately when one person doesn't give you feedback in time it causes extra stress and pressure on you. The feedback given isn’t in depth. Perhaps this is because the focus is on your own work and extra effort and thought is not put into someone else’s work.”

"Yes, others opinions allow you to look at things from another angle, whether you agree or disagree, broaden your assessment skills of the work and cause you review your own opinions.”
