Nel quadro di riferimento fissato dalle Direttive Europee in materia di Politiche

Regionali, di Pianificazione Spaziale Marittima e di Crescita Blu, il Progetto Interreg

MED PELAGOS intende definire un coordinamento comune tra i diversi stakeholder

operanti nel settore delle energie rinnovabili da fonti marine (Blue Energy – BE), su

scala sia nazionale che transnazionale.

scala sia nazionale che transnazionale.

PELAGOS intende costituire nella regione mediterranea un’aggregazione (cluster)

permanente dei soggetti attivi nel settore della Blue Energy, all’interno della quale

sia possibile condividere le esperienze tecniche e superare i comuni impedimenti di

natura operativa.

Il Cluster sosterrà lo sviluppo di piani d’impresa coordinati, creando e rafforzando le

relazioni internazionali tra i partner. Esso si compone di sette reti (HUB) nazionali,

cui afferiranno i principali attori nazionali del settore. I paesi coinvolti sono Croazia,

Cipro, Francia, Grecia, Italia, Portogallo e Spagna.

Il Cluster PELAGOS

Le piccole e medie imprese (PMI) e gli enti di ricerca rappresentati nell’HUB

beneficeranno di un costante supporto lungo tutta la catena di innovazione, dalla

ricerca di base a quella tecnologica, dallo sviluppo di prodotto alla progettazione e

validazione dei prototipi, ed infine all’implementazione finale delle tecnologie in

scala 1:1. L’HUB promuoverà modelli di condivisione dei costi e supporterà la

crescita di dimensione delle PMI, identificando opportunità per la diversificazione

e/o la migliore definizione dei prodotti e favorendo la cooperazione con industrie

dell’indotto capaci di fornire prodotti complementari e con cui condurre attività

sinergiche di ricerca e sviluppo.
