These watersheds: As of 1-19-18, new permit-exempt wells for domestic use in these watersheds are:
• have adopted watershed plans • have instream flow rules that do not regulate permit-
exempt wells • are directed by Section 202(7)(a) of the new law to
update their watershed plans by 2/1/2019
• allowed 3,000 gallons per day as the maximum annual average
• subject to a $500 fee
WRIAs 22 (Lower Chehalis); 23 (Upper Chehalis); 49 (Okanogan); 55 (Little Spokane); and 59 (Colville)
These watersheds: As of 1-19-18, new permit-exempt wells for domestic use in
these watersheds are: • have adopted watershed plans • have instream flow rules that do not regulate permit-
exempt wells • are directed by Section 202(7)(b) of the new law to
update their watershed plans by 2/1/2021

The new water use limits, $500 fees, and basin planning under the law do not apply in these watersheds.
