Der Schutz vor den Elementen Wind, Wasser und Kälte steht im Mittelpunkt. Unsere Shell Layers bestehen aus Trizar™ und Schöller ® Textil. Diese Anbieter entwickeln hoch atmungsaktive, wasserdichte Membran Techologien. Die Trizar™ Membrane wird mit Wärme-absorbierenden und Wärme-reflektierenden Partikeln aus Quartz und anderen natürlichen Materialen angereichert, die von der Nasa entwickelt wurden. Durch die Restwärme des Körpers wird dabei die Funktion des Feuchtigkeits-transports nach Aussen optimiert. Zustätzlich sorgen Infrarot-reflektierende Elemente in der Trizar Membrane dafür, dass im Innern ein angenehmes Klima herrscht. Die Schöller ® WB-Formula™ Membrane garantiert optimales Innenklima durch hohe Atmungsaktivität und ist ebenfalls wind- und wasserfest. Die unvergleichbare Dauerhaftigkeit des Aussenmaterials aus Polyamid hat uns dazu bewogen eine Linie mit diesem, in der Schweiz hergestellten Material zu entwickeln. Die Produkte eignen sich vor allem für extremeren Einsatzbereich.

Protection from elements such as Wind, Water and Cold is the primary task for our shell products. There are many kinds of highly breathable, waterproof and flexible membranes on the market. The Trizar™ membrane however takes a new approach. Powders made of quartz and other natural materials that either reflect or absorb your body heat were blended into the membrane. By absorbing your excess body heat, the membrane works more efficiently, which creates higher breathabil-ity (moisture evaporation). Additionally, the infra-red reflecting elements in the Trizar™ membrane generate a warm and comfortable climate inside your garment. We also craft some products with Schöller ® WB-Formula™, made in Switzerland. This membrane also guarantees optimal climate inside your garment, high breathability and water resistance. The unparal-leled durability of the outside material made from polyamide has motivated us to use this material for products with extreme use.

Wie viel Isolation darf es sein? Eine sehr individuelle Frage. Jeder Mensch hat eigene Bedürfnisse, und je nach Wetter und Einsatzbereich benötigt man eine wärmere, oder eine leichtere Isolation. Wir arbeiten mit Primaloft ® wie auch Pinneco ® Fütterungen und S.Café ® Fleece Textilien. All unsere Isolations-Oberteile funktionieren sehr gut mit den atmungsaktiven Shell Jacken und geben dir die Wärme ab, die du für deine Aktivität benötigst.

Insulation Layer

How much insulation do you need? It’s a very individual question. Each body has a different need and insulation also depends on weather and what kind of activity you are going after. We work with Primaloft ® and Pinneco ® paddings and S.Café ® Fleece textiles. These materials work really well in connection with the breathable shell layers and will give you the needed extra warmth and insulation.

Die Erste Bekleidungsschicht soll vor allem angenehmen Tragkomfort bieten. Wir haben unsere Unterwäsche aus einer sehr hochwertigen Merino Schurwolle aus Neu- seeland gefertigt. Die ökologische und artgerechte Tierhaltung auf die unser Lieferant grossen Wert legt, widerspiegelt sich in einer aussergewöhnlich weichen und angenehmen Merino Qualität. Merino Wolle hält auch in feuchtem Zustand warm und riecht nicht, da der Schweissgeruch auf natürliche Weise neutralisiert wird.

Base Layer

The product that is directly on your skin should give you a warm and cosy feeling. We have finished our under-wear with a high quality merino wool from New Zealand. The supplier of our wool textiles attaches great value in the ecological and animal friendly farming standards. Our merino wool will keep you warm, even when wet, and it won’t stink.

Our 3 layer Trizar ® product line was developed for the use in powder. The textile maintains ideal character-istics in terms of breathability, abrasion- and water resistance. The loose fit supports the riders freedom of movement. You are best wearing this jacket in combina-tion with our base and insulation layers, depending on your personal need and according to weather condi-tions. Furhtermore, this jacket can be zipped to any of our shell layer pants.*

Key element of our 3 layer products is the optimized breathability through the newly developed Trizar ® membrane. By absorbing your excess body heat, the membrane increases its activity and breathes more efficiently. Additionally, the infra-red reflecting elements in the Trizar membrane generate a comfortable climate inside your jacket.

Men 3 layer Trizar ® Shell Bib/Pant (Art. 117)

The Trizar ® 3 layer pants come with a detachable bib and are possible to be connected with our jackets. We designed them with enough room for movement, even on telemark skis. A super durable Schöller Kevlar, in tone-in-tone colour, will keep the leg openings cut free.

Unsere 3 Lagen Trizar ® Hosen wurden mit einem ab- nehmbaren Latz kreiert. Die Hose kann am selben Reiss- verschluss auch mit unseren Jacken verbunden werden. Die Hose ist eher weit geschnitten um mehr Bewegungs-freiheit, auch beim Telemarken, zu gewähren. An den Beinöffnungen haben wir einen Kantenschutz aus Schöller Kevlar, in der Farbe der Hose eingearbeitet.

The Seili 4000 products have been designed for use in extreme alpine conditions. The jacket such as the pants have been adapted from our core range and perfected in durability for the use on backcountry expeditions. The stretch fabric and comfort fit allows excellent free-dom of movement while the Schöller ® polyamide face fabrics generate superb abrasion resistance.

Seili 4000 Produkte verfolgen das Ziel auf alpinen Touren gegen die Element perfekt gewappnet zu sein. Die Jacke und die Hose wurden aus unserer Standard Kollektion entwickelt und für den Einsatz im Hinterland und auf Ex-peditionen auf die höchsten Berge der Schweizer Alpen konzipiert. Die Flexibilität und Abriebs-festigkeit von Schöller ® Polyamid Stoffen eignen sich ideal für den Einsatzbereich der Seili 4000er Linie.

Only the mightiest peaks in the Alps reach the mystic altitude of 4000 meters. An unreal world of snow, ice and rock is waiting to be discovered—raw and perfect. Snowboard professional Martin Seiler, known as “Seili” grew up in the Wallis, in the heart of the Alps. Sur- rounded by many of the highest Swiss mountains, he explores many of them on his splitboard. With new per- spectives, so far only open for ski alpinists and climb-ers, a whole lot of new terrain is now accessible to Seili. To maintain products that are suitable for his expedi-tions into these alpine areas we have decided to create the Penguin Seili 4000 collection. A clothing line that takes the approach to be one of the most durable and extreme in the outdoor market.

In order to meet the high requirements in these alpine conditions, Penguin and Seili have tested multiple fabrics in heavy use. Extremely durable but also stretchable fabrics from Schöller in Switzerland have been showing the best results and were used for our Seili 4000 collection.

4000 Meter über Meer ist die Grenze über die sich nur die mächtigsten und höchsten Bergmassive der Alpen erheben. Eine unwirklich erscheinende Welt aus Schnee, Eis und Stein; rau und vollkommen. Der Snowboard-profi Martin Seiler, bekannt als «Seili» wuchs im Wallis, umgeben von diesen Bergen, auf und entdeckt die 4000er mit seinem Splitboard. Waren bisher vor allem Bergsteiger und Skialpinisten auf diesen Bergen unter-wegs, öffnet sich ihm mit seinem Splitboard jetzt eine vollkommen neue Perspektive; neue Abfahrten in dieser Hochgebirgslandschaft werden plötzlich möglich. Um dabei auch in den extremsten Bedingungen den optima-len Komfort fürs Touren und steile Abfahrten gewähr-leisten zu können ist Martin auf funktionale und robuste Outerwear sowie ein top Layering System angewiesen.

To provide maxiumum comfort and keeping you cosy is the main criteria we followed during the design process of our Pinneco ® insulated product range. A functional 2 layer shell fabric was combined with the newly developed Pinneco ® Mantle SS (super stretch) padding. This product provides a comfortable warmth and supports breathability. The unilateral stretch such as a superb loft recovery of the padding allow perfect freedom of movement.

This newly developed pant is insulated with the flexible 60 g Pinneco ® Mantle Super Stretch to provide you with enough warmth while allowing all moves you could think of during a cold day. We engineered a stretchable 2 layer upper fabric and a stretchable lining to work the super flex throughout all fabric layers.

Our new developped insulation jacket comes with an insulation padding called Pinneco ® Mantle. We used the stretchable version of this material to give the jacket a superb fit and movement function. The jacket may be worn as an insulation layer or as outside jacket on a dry day. A product that provides a steady and comfort-able warmth through superb loft recovery.

Our comfortable zipped hoodie may be worn as an insulation layer or as your favorite every-day piece of clothing. The product was made from an environmen-tally friendly textile that’s processed with polyester mixed with coffee grounds. The inside is soft brushed and keeps you warm. The stretch of this product results in freedom for action and the coffee is covering any kind of smell.

Unsere angenehm zu tragenden Hoodies können einerseits als zusätzliche Isolationsschicht oder als dein Lieblings-Alltags-Kleidungsstück getragen werden. Das Produkt wurde aus einem Stoff gefertigt, der aus einem mit Kaffee angereicherten Polyestergarn besteht. The light weight insulation turtle neck is useful compan-ion when riding at temperatures around freezing point. A tight turtle neck keeping throat warm provides wind shelter. Two zipped pockets can be used for storage and the sleeves are constructed with thumbholes.

Our vest serves as extra layer that’s suitable if you need a little more insulation in the core of your body and at your neck. The product was made with soft brushed knit fabric for a dry and versatile warmth. The fabric is Bluesign ® certified. Coffee grounds were blended into the fabric's yarn and generate an antibacterial effect, neutralising smell.

Unsere Westen sind beliebt wenn etwas mehr Isolation an Körper und Hals gefragt ist. Ein handlicher Begleiter, und auf kleinstem Raum im Rucksack verstaubar. Wir haben für den Stoff ein Garn verwendet, das mit Kaffe-satz angereichert wurde. Der Kaffee hat einen anti- bakteriellen Effekt und neutralisiert Gerüche, und muss daher auch nicht so oft gewaschen werden wie her-kömmliche Polyester Produkte. Our vest serves as extra layer that’s suitable if you need a little more insulation in the core of your body and at your neck. The product was made with soft brushed knit fabric for a dry and versatile warmth. The fabric is Bluesign ® certified. Coffee grounds were blended into the fabric's yarn and generate an antibacterial effect, neutralising smell.

Unsere Westen sind beliebt wenn etwas mehr Isolation an Körper und Hals gefragt ist. Ein handlicher Begleiter, und auf kleinstem Raum im Rucksack verstaubar. The unilateral stretch such as a superb loft recovery of the padding allow perfect freedom of movement.

The Trizar ® 3 layer pants come with a detachable bib and are possible to be connected with our jackets. We designed them with enough room for movement, even on telemark skis. A super durable Schöller Kevlar, in tone-in-tone colour, will keep the leg openings cut free.

Unsere 3 Lagen Trizar ® Hosen wurden mit einem ab- nehmbaren Latz kreiert. Die Hose kann am selben Reiss- verschluss auch mit unseren Jacken verbunden werden. Die Hose ist eher weit geschnitten um mehr Bewegungs-freiheit, auch beim Telemarken, zu gewähren. Our 3 layer Trizar ® product line was developed for the use in powder. The textile maintains ideal character-istics in terms of breathability, abrasion- and water resistance. The loose fit supports the riders freedom of movement. You are best wearing this jacket in combina-tion with our base and insulation layers, depending on your personal need and according to weather condi-tions. Furhtermore, this jacket can be zipped to any of our shell layer pants.

Key element of our 3 layer products is the optimized breathability through the newly developed Trizar ® membrane. By absorbing your excess body heat, the membrane increases its activity and breathes more efficiently. Additionally, the infra-red reflecting elements in the Trizar membrane generate a comfortable climate inside your jacket.

Der Hauptfokus unserer 3 Lagen Produkte liegt in der optimierten Atmungsfunktionalität durch die Trizar ® Membrane.
