Access Requirements: A Common Access Card (CAC) is required to enter the Pentagon; if your CAC is not
programmed for regular Pentagon access, you will need to enter through the Visitor’s Center. This can add time to your travel, so plan your time accordingly.
Directions:To the Pentagon: The Pentagon is located off of I-395 on the Virginia side of the Potomac River. It is just east of Arlington National Cemetery and northwest of Ronald Reagan National Airport. The best way to get to the Pentagon is by Metrorail . There is no public parking at the Pentagon. Visitors may park at the Pentagon City Mall (The Fashion Center at Pentagon City) and walk to the entrance through a pedestrian tunnel. The shopping mall is located at 1100 South Hayes Street, Arlington, VA and includes a wide variety of retail stores and restaurants.
