Intersection of Lumpkin St & Tate Center Parking Lot Entrance:

• 14 crashes from 2003-2012• 11 (79%) crashes resulted from motorist turning right into

bicyclist on parallel path (in bike lane)• 2 crashes resulted from motorist turning left in front of

bicyclist (in bike lane)• 1 crash resulted from motorist “dooring” bicyclist while letting

passenger out of vehicle• 11 crashes since February 2010
