Get medical advice. Skin contact: Wash with water. Eye contact: Wash with water for 10 minutes. Get medical advice. Advice to doctor: Treat symptomatically. 5 Fire-fighting measures Extinguishers: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus (forms toxic fumes in a fire). Use dry powder or carbon dioxide extinguishing agents. 6 Accidental release measures Spillage (containment and disposal): Wear gloves. Shovel into a marked container and dispose of via a waste disposal contractor or contact supplier for advice. 7 Handling and storage Precautions in use: Storage and transport precautions: Place out of reach of small children and domestic pets because cockroaches carry harmful bacteria. Wash hands after handling cockroach laden traps, or wear gloves. No special requirements needed. 8 Exposure controls and personal protection Wear gloves when handling used traps. 9 Physical and chemical properties Appearance: A segmented piece of cardboard 20cm x 25cm with a central panel covered with a sticky, insect trapping layer. Waste classification: Non-hazardous. For best results, set a number of ‘mini-houses’ in different places. 5. The optimum time for leaving monitoring traps in place is 24 to 72 hours. However, the specially formulated bait provided attracts insects for up to four weeks. Incorporates the REACH requirement changes to safety data sheets.
