This course will help to imbibe a data driven culture of decision making withinHR. Specifically, it will help HR Professionals with:

OutcomesHR managers will be able to USE and APPLY analytics on their own dataimmediately after the conclusion of the workshop. They will be able to askthe IT teams for the right data needed for taking HR decisions and be able tomerge multiple data sources as needed. They will also be introduced tounderstand predictive model outcomes.

The training/ workshop will provide real life examples and cases fromrelevant HR issues from leading organizations and academics to provide acomplete analytical decision-making environment. Content will include adeep dive into KPIs useful for HR (and their underlying reasons), training intools for HR analytics like advanced Excel, a detailed understanding ofdescriptive and diagnostic analytics through visual analytics, cases toevangelize the power of predictive analytics in HR, and definition andimplementation of HR analytics strategy.

Dr. Upinder Dhar is Vice Chancellor of Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeth Vishwavidyalaya (Indore). Hehas conducted more than 650 management and faculty development programs for theexecutives of major business houses and faculty members of academic institutionsrespectively. He has also been Guest Faculty at IIM Calcutta, IIM Indore, IIM Trichy and IITRoorkee. Besides undertaking consultancy assignments, he has authored/co-authored/editedmore than 700 publications. Thirty-Six (36) scholars have been awarded Ph.D. degree under hissupervision by various universities. He has also been Member of the council of Management ofAIMA, Member of ATMA, All India Board of Management Studies of AICTE, Rajasthan StateProductivity Council, Governing Board of DELNET and Member of the Executive Board ofAMDISA. He has been on the high powered Expert Committees constituted by MHRD, UGC,AICTE . Currently, he is a Member of the Standing Committee on Specification of Degrees u/s 22of the UGC Act, 1956. He has also been resource person in the Leadership for AcademiciansProgram (LEAP) sponsored by MHRD and organized by IIT Roorkee.

Dr. Santosh Dhar is Dean - Faculty of Doctoral Studies and Research at Shri VaishnavVidyapeeth Vishwavidyalaya, Indore. She has been engaged in teaching, research, corporatetraining and consultancy for the last forty years. She has widely published her work and hasmore than 332 publications to her credit. Dr. Dhar had coordinated the implementation of aproject on the Empowerment of Women through Enterprise in North India (2000-2002), whichwas funded by Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA). She has twice beenchairperson of Indian Society for Training and Development Jaipur and Indore Chapter &Chairperson of the Best Paper Award of the Indian Society for Training and Development, NewDelhi. Dr. Dhar was conferred National Fellowship for her contributions to HR by the IndianSociety for Training and Development in 2006-07.)

In thepast Secretary and Chairman, ISTD Dehradun Chapter. He is having more than 35 years’experience in HR & Training. He has done his doctorate from IIT Roorkee and is a regularvisiting faculty to IIT Rorkee, IIM Kashipur and IIM Sirmour, University of Petroleum and EnergyStudies, Graphic Era University and many more. He is in the Advisory Board of Doon Universityand Glocal University. He has conducted many MDPs for ISTD and THDC India Limited.
