Description: The UPHA American Royal National Championships the final large show of the year, and is the final leg in the Saddle Seat Triple Crown. Riders from all over come to compete for the National Title. Many Exhibitor events are scheduled to set up for a great week in Kansas City watching the beauty and grace of the American Saddlebred. This horse show counts for ASAC High Points as an “A” show and the USEF Equestrian Lettering Program.

Industry Membership Guidelines
Once you have made the commitment to purchase or lease a show horse, there are certain industry association memberships you will need to obtain. Here, we break down the requirements and costs associated with showing your American Saddlebred.
♦ American Saddlebred Horse Association (ASHA)
⇒ The OWNER of the horse, as listed on the Registration Papers, and EXHIBITOR must be a member of ASHA.
⇒ Membership is valid from December 1, 20xx-November 30, 20xx, and must be renewed annually.
⇒ Cost is $30 for a Junior Member (under 18 on Dec. 1), and $70 for a Senior Member (over 18 on Dec. 1)
⇒ Go to https://www.asha.net/BecomeAMember/Register/to register/renew online.
⇒ IMPORTANT: Once registered, please provide the Legacy Office with a copy of your ASHA Membership Card for horse show entries throughout the season.
♦ United States Equestrian Federation (USEF)
⇒ The OWNER and EXHIBITOR of the horse must be a member of USEF.
⇒ If you would like to participate in the USEF Lettering Program, the RIDER must be a member of USEF, and send in an application for the program. The RIDER is responsible for recording and submitting the required information to USEF.
⇒ Membership is valid from December 1, 20xx – November 30, 20xx, and must be renewed annually (or every three years if you choose that option-see below).

Performance Camps and Clinics
PERFORMANCE BOOT CAMP Our Performance Boot Camp is an intense week of riding, discussion, and show preparation. As a last preparation for the World’s Championship Horse Show, it is a great camp for those showing at Louisville, as well as other Performance Team Members to sharpen their skills. 2017 Dates: Monday, August 7th – 11th PERFORMANCE CLINICS Throughout the year, we will have guest trainers and instructors come in to work with our Performance Team Members on various skills.
