What the product is trying to sell – a lifestyle? Better looks? The men’s fragrance unforgivable is promoting a Lifestyle and encouraging men to live there desirers

Better looks. It gives off the impression that if you buy this perfume you will get a girlfriend that looks like Paris Hilton

What colours are used – why? No bright colours are used as it makes it more powerful and passionate.

This ad is more muted because it shows class and sophistication.

What picture is used – why? This image is used to give the connotation that men can be like Sean john. It’s a picture of Sean john with 2 women in bed.

A picture of Paris Hilton herself is used. She Is wearing expensive and feminine clothes and pearls.

What fonts are used –why? A block font is used for the writing but the name ‘Sean John’ is written in more of a signature font to make it more his personal fragrance.

A feminine font is used to make the product more feminine.

What you like about the advertisement? The image matches the title very good and the colours used are effective as they are all black and white apart from the orange titled name ‘Sean John’.

The image is very feminine and the colours are my favourite colours and this is why I like It a lot. She is wearing pearls and this shows wealth. Paris Hilton is showing off her fame and fortunes in this advert. The title is just Paris Hilton and this makes it a lot easier for the audience to recognise whose fragrance this belongs to.
