The report of a part of Human Rights abuse in Iranian Kurdistan by the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Judiciary and Intelligence Services in the first quarter of 2019

During the first three months of 2019, Iranian Kurdistan was under the pressure in politi-cal, civil, social and economic fields by Iran’s regime too.According to the data and facts that recorded by Iranian Kurdistan Human Rights center

during just the first quarter of this year, more than 329 cases of Human Rights abuses have been occurred.During these three months at least 60 piggyback-transporters and tradesmen have been

victims of the regime’s policy of keeping Kurdistan economically undeveloped and so Is-lamic Regime’s hostile behaviour against Kurdish people. 16 people of them have been died that 6 of them killed by armed force’s direct shooting and 10 other tradesmen died because of fallen from the height while been chased by Islamic Republic’s armed forces, or due to remaining under the avalanche and cold weather. Also 44 tradesmen were wounded because of the regime’s forces’ direct shooting, falling from the height and nature’s anger, and decades of their horses and mules have been killed and so their goods worth several billion Tumans (Iran’s currency) have been confiscated.During this period, security authorities have arrested 157 ordinary people, political and

civil society activists who have been accused of committing security and political crimes against the Islamic Republic of Iran and its profits. Some of them after interrogations by the security forces, have been bailed out and awaiting trial and 45 of them have been convicted to 4months until 26 years imprisonment and totally they sentenced to 1807 months (150 years and 7 months) jail. At the same time two Kurdish prisoners have been accused of co-operation with the Kurdish political parties and have been convicted to capital punishment. During the first three months of this year, 6 Kurdish prisoners have been executed related to murder.

During the first quarter, the explosion of non-neutralized personnel mines in Kurdistan have taken 27 casualties which Iranian Kurdistan Human Rights center has collected the information about 10 of these victims that two people of them have been died and 8 of them have been wounded. Of course undoubtedly the exact number of the victims is higher than what we have mentioned in this report, because the official news agencies refuse to broadcast the name of the victims.During this period of time more than 19 Kurdish workers in Kurdistan and other parts of

Iran have lost their lives in different work related accidents and the identity of 11 of them is recorded by Iranian Kurdistan Human Rights center.As a result of the authorities’ negligence, the suicide rate in Kurdistan during the first quar-

ter has been highlighting. During these three months at least 80 people have committed suicide in Kurdistan and Iranian Kurdistan Human Rights center has recorded the identity of 55 of them.This statistics and information of human rights abuses in this part of the country, which

has been collected by Iranian Kurdistan Human Rights Center is just covering those reports which have been reported by trusted sources and broadcasted officially, but we believe that the Human Rights abuse committed by the Islamic Republic of Iran in Kurdistan is much more than what is being reported.
