Automotive
If a student is a concentrator in any automotive program, he or she must take the ASE.
Automotive instructors can choose to administer the ASE test title(s) in the test series that is most relevant to their programs.
ASE order forms, user manuals and other resources may be accessed at: http://www.asestudentcertification.com/
Cost of assessments are: $30.00 per student, per test series, per academic year. There are two testing windows for ASE – fall and spring. Students can take multiple tests as well as pretests in the same series during both windows for the flat rate of $30.00. For example, an instructor could administer the ASE Automobile Series Engine Repair test to the same student once (pre-test) in the fall and again in the spring. He/She could also administer any other test in the Automobile Series to the same student for no addt’l cost.
Reimbursement for ASE assessments will be processed through the Grants Management System (GMS). Contact Randall Butt at [email protected] for more information on reimbursement.
