Educational Programme Aims:1.To train qualified specialists in the field of 08.04.01 - Construction, being
able to design, build, operate and reconstruct the underground space, buildings and structures, and to perform zero cycle building and assembly works on urbanized areas with complex engineering-geological conditions of construction and lay of land.
2. To support the intellectual maturity and comprehensive development of an individual, the development of creative and critical thinking, design, communication and collaboration skills, professional and ethical responsibility, needs for training throughout his life.
3. To form engineers, holders of Master’s degree who combine deep fundamental scientific and specialized training with a broad learning of general scientific and professional disciplines, to have the skills of research work and being ready to solve complex scientific and engineering problems.
4. To prepare students for successful careers in the field of underground and urban construction for enterprises and organizations of various forms of ownership. This can be achieved by teaching disciplines that will provide fundamental knowledge, tools and intellectual maturity necessary in a global competitive environment.

Final state certification provides passing state exam and defending final qualifying work (master thesis).

The venue of the research work is laboratory of the department, as well as other research and educational institutions in accordance with the contracts concluded between PNRPU and these organizations. Time and timing are determined by the calendar plan of SRW, which is part of the individual task of master student.
Topics of research work are developed by teachers of the graduating chair which is the scientific director of research work. Themes of research should be formulated with taking into account the scientific interests of undergraduates and may be the development of scientific results obtained in the previous stages of education.
