Special products for precast concrete construction
Standard type S
without a water drip former
Permanent edging formwork without a water drip former gives
a smooth surface to the semi-fi nished concrete element. This type
of permanent edging formwork is mainly used for staircases, slab
openings and for permanently visible recesses in concrete (indoor
use).
Standard type S
with a water drip former
Permanent edging formwork with a water drip former produces a drip
nose on the bottom side of the semi-fi nished concrete element. This
permanent edging formwork is mainly used for cantilevered concrete
slabs, such as balconies. The reusable drip former is positioned

Permanent formwork
Slab type D permanent edging formwork
with one sealing insert
Permanent edging formwork with a single plastic sealing strip
is mainly used for the production of balcony elements. The permanent
edging formwork produces a clean cut and blowhole free exposed
side of the precast component and saves costs for expensive
remedial work. The sealing insert is removed after concreting and
the drip nose formed behind now becomes visible.
Wall type W permanent edging formwork
with two sealing inserts
Permanent edging formwork with two plastic sealing strips is mainly
used to form the openings for doors and windows in twin-wall
construction. The superior fi nish of the extruded fi bre concrete gives
an excellent exposed concrete quality.
The sealing inserts are removed after concreting. The gaps
created are either covered by the door panels or they can be
in-fi lled, if required.

Factory made stiffening
for box-out shutters
Both folding box-out shutters and L-shaped box-out shutters are
made of stable trapezoidal sheet steel. There is usually no need for
stiffening.
If, however, particularly large-size recesses must be produced,
we recommend additional stiffening of the box-out shutters – see
chart below.
The preassembled box-out shutters are stiffened and fi tted with
a base in our factory and they are transported to the construction site
completely assembled.
