RGIT’s MESA had organising a self-defence workshop for women and girls. The
workshop was conducted on the occasion of Republic day i.e. on 26th January, 2018 at stilt area.
The Guest Trainer was Kyoshi B. H. Chaudhary, president and chief Instructor of International
Goso-Ku-Ryu Karate Do Association & his assistant Mr. Ankur Jain. Other Dignities present were
Principal Dr. Udhav Bhosle, Prof. P. R. Potdar and many senior professors.

The Indian Society Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers arranged ISHRAE
Mini Job Junction at Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology, Andheri which focused on offering
core company jobs for the mechanical engineering students. Approximately 150 students were in
attendance including 40 volunteers. Selection was based upon the company’s requirement by
Group discussion and Interview. Amongst participated 110 students 12 were selected from which
3 were shortlisted and 8 were in confirm selection.
