Our Underwriting Philosophy
Penn National Insurance wishes to maintain a long-term,

to the insured and passengers.
n Bodily Injury Liability Coverage for injuries to someone else resulting from a crash caused by the insured.
n Property Damage Liability Coverage pays for damage caused to someone else’s car or property in a crash.
n Collision Coverage pays for repairs to the insured’s car after an accident.
n Other-Than-Collision (Comprehensive) Coverage pays for repairs to the insured’s car after damage from something other than a collision.
n Uninsured and Underinsured Motorist Coverage pays medical bills for insured and passengers if a driver without insurance or without enough insurance causes injuries in a crash.

Additional Coverages
We offer a variety of optional coverages that can be purchased for an additional premium.
Auto Loan/LeaseCoverage for the difference between the amount owed on a car loan or lease and what would be paid under a personal automobile insurance policy if car were totaled. Pays to repair or replace damaged or destroyed items at today’s price, with no deduction for depreciation.
Replacement Cost AutoCovered losses are paid without considering depreciation in the car’s value. Cost would only be the policy deductible. Cars damaged as a result of fire or theft will be covered at actual cash value.

Preferred Provider RepairThrough our Preferred Repair Program, policy-holders can take their damaged vehicle to one of our preferred repair shops or the repair shop of their choice. The shops in our Preferred Repair Program have a history of completing quality repairs in a timely fashion, and taking care of all the paperwork.
Damaged windshield?We have a dedicated National Glass Claims Hotline – 800.330.3038 – for the fastest service for policyholder’s auto glass cracks or other damage. You have the option of selecting to have their glass repaired using the ProGlass Alliance network with the 20/20 Perfect Guaranty or going to a glass repair shop of their choosing.
The 20/20 Perfect Vision Guaranty provides added protection should a policyholder sustain glass damage to the same part that was replaced within the next 20 months or 20,000 miles of driving. The glass will be repaired or replaced free of charge, with no deductible and no claim filed.
Auto PennPac® EndorsementThis optional, affordable endorsement bundles valuable coverages for extra peace of mind. Auto PennPac includes:
