Personal protective equipment is vital in an age where aggressive MRSA and other dangerous pathogens present a problem in virtually all areas of hospitals and medical practices. In the CSSD, in particular, the use of high-quality protective equipment must be ensured, since many of the instruments to be reprocessed pose a risk not only from contamination but also because they are sharp or pointed.
