Advances in the processing of materials on a micro-scale have enabled the precise machining, extrusion, casting and formation, which led to the development and introduction of devices that employ very small needles – microneedles – that deliver topicals and drugs by mechanically perforating the outer skin layer and allowing for transdermal absorption of the active compound.

MTS Roller is a durable and high quality precision tool comprised of 200 Swedish, 32 gauge surgical grade stainless steel needles ranging from 200-2000um in needle length and 10-150um in tip diameter. The roller disc and handles are made from medical grade Lexan Polycarbonate Resin and they are held in place by axles made from polished stainless steel. MTS Roller is a patented microneedling device that is ideal for non-surgical and non-ablative treatment of various skin conditions such as aging

(wrinkles, lax skin, uneven texture, enlarged pores), scarring (acne, surgical, burn), stretch marks, cellulite, hyperpigmentation, and hair loss.

MTS Roller causes micro-injuries to the skin to trigger the body’s natural wound healing response. The micro-injuries stimulate the release of cytokines and growth factors that lead to accelerated remodeling of collagen and elastin. Clinical studies have shown microneedling to be more effective and consistent in increasing the skin thickness in comparison to ablative treatments, such as laser resurfacing, dermabrasion, and chemical peels.

Absolute AbsorbencyWhen the 200 microneedles of MTS Roller are inserted into the skin, they pierce the stratum corneum to create thousands of microchannels. These microchannels serve as delivery conduits that aid in infusing therapeutic serums through the dermal layers for maximum transport and efficacy to optimize clinical results. Clinical studies have shown that serum absorption is increased by as much as 3,000 percent when applied with MTS Roller.

Fast Recuperative PowerThe gentle stimulation provided by the MTS Roller is far more “skin friendly” and less painful than many invasive and also expensive skin treatments. Unlike chemical and energy based ablations that damage or destroy the epidermis, MTS Roller leaves the entire epidermal barrier intact. The microchannels close within a matter of minutes to hours. This allows enough time for topicals to penetrate deep into the lower layers of the skin but short enough to minimize complications and downtime, allowing

the patients to resume normal routines quickly. With minimal damage and downtime, MTS Roller eliminates negative side effects and risks commonly associated with chemical peeling, dermabrasion, and laser resurfacing. The skin is thicker, healthier, and more responsive to additional treatments after microneedling with MTS Roller.

MTS Roller models MR2 and MR3 are designed for personal care and are virtually painless. MR5, MR10, MR15, and MR20 are clinical rollers for licensed professionals only and should be used with a topical anesthetic cream (i.e. Numb Master).
