MTS Roller is a durable and high quality precision tool comprised of 200 Swedish, 32 gauge surgical grade stainless steel needles ranging from 200-2000um in needle length and 10-150um in tip diameter. The roller disc and handles are made from medical grade Lexan Polycarbonate Resin and they are held in place by axles made from polished stainless steel. MTS Roller causes micro-injuries to the skin to trigger the body’s natural wound healing response. The micro-injuries stimulate the release of cytokines and growth factors that lead to accelerated remodeling of collagen and elastin. Clinical studies have shown microneedling to be more effective and consistent in increasing the skin thickness in comparison to ablative treatments, such as laser resurfacing, dermabrasion, and chemical peels.
