Activity: WHO-EC Project on HPED 7th AEGCD Meeting: “Strengthening Surveillance and Response Capacity for Highly Pathogenic and Emerging and Zoonotic Diseases in Cross-Border Areas of ASEAN Region” The proposed activities include:• An assessment of existing cross border collaboration and

recommend appropriate modalities for prevention and control of HPED in cross border areas;

• Develop mechanism and models• Develop modalities to institutionalize border health

authorities at local and national levels for regular exchange of disease surveillance information;
