Discovery: Yanayacu. Skim along this river and see brilliant parrots, hummingbirds andhawks. Spot pink and grey dolphins swimmingbelow and red howler monkeys in the canopyabove. You will even have the opportunity to swimin the river along with the famous pink dolphins!
Discovery: Nauta Caño Creek. Set off on anexhilarating piranha fishing adventure. Over 25 different species of piranhas live in the AmazonRiver Basin. Later, embark on a guided night safariin search of caiman alligators and night birds.

In the historic center, a UNESCO WorldHeritage site, explore Plaza Mayor and the buildings encircling it: President’s Palace, City Hall and the Cathedral of Lima with its stunninginterior. Step inside the Monastery of SanFrancisco, containing a beautifully decorated
church, a library with 25,000 antique volumesand bone-filled catacombs beneath the chapels.
Enrichment: Meet the People. This evening,gather at Casa Garcia Alvarado, a family home and a National Historical Building. Take a tour of the elegant house and then delight in a typicalPeruvian home-cooked meal in the company ofone of the owners.

Transfer to Lima’s airport for your flight to Iquitos,the gateway to the Amazon, accessible only byplane or boat.
Discovery: Iquitos. Journey through thebustling streets where the city’s historical flavorcan be seen in rickshaws, colorful tuk-tuks and 19th-century mansions.
Afterward, travel to Nauta, a small riverside townon the Marañon River. Along the way, see thevibrant “terra firma” (non-flooded forest) andother aspects of daily jungle life. Upon arrival in Nauta, embark the Delfin III at a private port.

If connectingflights are requested, special promotional fares may beused, in which case penalties of as much as 100% maybe assessed by the airlines if reservations are changedor canceled after ticketing. After departure, if the reser-vations are changed, you will be charged the higher, allyear Economy class fare. By participatingin this travel program, you authorize AHI Travel, withoutproviding compensation to you, or obtaining additionalapprovals from you, to include photographic and videorecordings of you, as well as voice recordings includedwith any videos, in AHI Travel's sales, marketing, adver-tising, publicity and/or training activities.RESPONSIBILITY-AHI Travel and the SponsoringAssociation do not own or operate any entity which pro-vides goods or services for this program, and act onlyas agents for the independent suppliers of travel con-veyance, transport, accommodations or other services.All such persons or entities are independent contractors.As a result, AHI Travel and the Sponsoring Associationare not liable for any negligence or willful act of any suchperson or entity or any third person. In addition andwithout limitation, AHI Travel and the SponsoringAssociation are not responsible for any delays, delayeddeparture or arrival, missed carrier connections, loss,death, damage or injury to person or property or acci-dent, mechanical defect, failure or negligence of anynature howsoever caused in connection with anyaccommodations, transportation or other services or forany substitution of hotels or of common carrier equip-ment, with or without notice, or for any additionalexpenses occasioned thereby. Dates, Program Detailsand Tour costs, although given in good faith and basedon tariffs, exchange rates and other information currentat the time of printing, are subject to change at orbefore the time of departure. No revisions of the printeditinerary or its included features are anticipated; howev-er, the right is reserved to make any changes, with orwithout notice, that might become necessary, with themutual understanding that any additional expenses willbe paid by the individual passenger. Baggage and per-sonal effects are the sole responsibility of the owners atall times. If the entire program is canceled for any rea-son, participants shall have no claim other than for a fullrefund. By forwarding the deposit, the passenger certi-fies that he/she has no physical, mental or other condi-tion of disability that would create a hazard forhimself/herself or other passengers and accepts theterms of this contract set out herein and in more specificpre-departure passenger information. The airlines andother transportation companies concerned are not to beheld responsible for any act, omission, or event, duringthe time passengers are not on board their con-veyances. The passage contract in use, when issued,shall constitute the sole contract between thecompany(ies) and the passenger and/or purchaser ofthis trip.CANCELLATION-All cancellations for any reason will besubject to a $250 per person administrative fee. Youmay choose, at the time of cancellation, to apply thewithheld administrative fee to a future AHI Travel pro-gram that will operate in the current calendar year oryear following. Cancellation from 120 days to 91 daysprior to departure will result in forfeiture of 20% of theentire cost of the trip per person; 90-51 days, 50% ofthe trip cost per person; cancellation from 50 days up tothe time of departure will result in 100% forfeiture of theentire cost of the trip. TRIP CANCELLATION INSUR-ANCE IS AVAILABLE. AN APPLICATION WILL BE SENTAFTER YOU RESERVE. All cancellations must be sub-mitted in writing to AHI Travel.
