One of the major factors contributing to stomach ulcers in horses is the lack of high protein ‘green’ feed.

• FACT:• Studies in England, Ireland, Hong Kong and the
United States report that 80-90% of racehorses in training, 84% of yearlings and 51% of foals have stomach ulcers. In racehorses spelled for a month and pasture fed, the incidence of ulcers dropped to around 50%.
