The Hawth are searching for Michaels and Johns to appear in this year’s Pantomime, Peter Pan The Hawth are offering budding actors an exciting opportunity to perform on the big stage at The Hawth Crawley this December. The theatre and the Peter Pan producers are searching for four boys to perform alongside television, film and theatre star Nigel Havers in this swashbuckling adventure. Peter Pan is produced by Qdos Entertainment, the world’s largest pantomime producer. Featuring magnificent scenery, beautiful costumes, an abundance of comedy and stunning flying sequences this is a show not to be missed. The Hawth is looking for two Michaels and two Johns to appear in rotation during the run. This is a great chance for young performers to act with a star cast and take part in a professional production. To audition boys must be at least 10 years old and should be no more than 4’6” for Michael and no more than 4’8” for John, with acting and singing ability. Hopefuls should prepare a monologue, poem or rhyme and be prepared to read from the script. Those wishing to audition should register in advance by emailing [email protected] stating their name, age and giving a telephone number, then simply arrive at the theatre 10am prompt on the day. Auditions will be held at The Hawth on Saturday 18 June from 10am to 12noon. Peter Pan runs from Friday 9 to Saturday 31 December 2011 and you will need to be available for rehearsals prior to these dates.
