A bit about me I am a versatile, multi lingual writer, recognised for my poise and wit in capturing the essence of a person (ality), event or place. A true global mind, I was educated at the University of Sydney and at the Université de Genève, Switzerland. My career began as a Lawyer in Sydney and has taken me via the UN in Geneva, a foreign affairs internship in Lima and a sojourn in a Mongolian ger. Now I find myself smack- bang in Berlin.

After completing German language studies, I made the switch to professional writing. I freelance on culture and the arts in Europe and beyond, international affairs and lifestyle – related issues more broadly for several European as well as Australian publications. I also undertake commissioned copy writing work. Most recently, German media powerhouse Hubert Burda Media awarded me a new talent scholarship to attend its Digital Life Design Conference http://www.dld-women.com/about.php in June 2010, a conference with international guest speakers and attendees from the arts, media and technology sectors discussing the influence of media on the role of women in society today.

I speak fluent French, German, Macedonian and have advanced Spanish. Using my language skills and inquiring mind, I love to meet people from different cultures and backgrounds. I believe in the power of change and am a committee member of Australian charity, Nathan´s Bequest. Under Chris Joannou´s patronage, we are working hard to educate Australians about the effects of mental illness and to prevent youth suicide.

Through my writing, I am passionate about unearthing and sharing stories about people and places skimming just beneath the radar and profiling professional experiences of people who are following their hearts- whether it is in the humanitarian or arts fields.
