Merger & Acquisition Updates In December 2008, Petris acquired Intervera Data Solutionsand wenow have a knowledgeable and experienced teamoproessionalsinCalgary,Canadawhocanquicklymeettheneedsoourever-growingE&Pclientbase.Overthepastthreemonths,

Petrisdataqualitysotware,DataVera,hasbeenverywellreceivedbyourcurrentcustomers.ThisproductgivesPetristheuniqueabilitytoautomatedataqualityanddatacleanuptasksthrougharepeatableandreusablelibraryosophisticatedindustry-basedrules. Inaddition,sincetheacquisitionoZEH inDecember2008,allZEHemployeeshavenowmovedintothePetrisocesinDorking,UK.PetrisisheadquarteredinHouston,USA,buthasocesaroundtheworld,specically:Calgary(Canada),Toulouse(France),London(U.K.),andPerth(Australia).

PetrisCLIENTSInJanuary,agroupoPetrisexecutivesandProjectManagerssetoonatriptoDhahran,SaudiArabia.ThehighlightotheirvisitwasaceremonyheldbySaudi Aramco,theworldslargestoilcompany,honoringPetrisandallothoseinvolvedinthesuccessuldeploymentotheDataServicesProject.InattendanceromSaudiAramcoweremembersacrossa

number o departments, including: Intellectual Assets, Exploration, Technology andApplicationSupport.TheceremonyincludedspeechesmadebyrepresentativesrombothPetrisandSaudiAramcoandculminatedwithanexchangeogits.Thiseventmarkedtheendoaprojectspanningaewyearsthatinvolvedanincredibleamountoteamworkandcoordinationbetweenthetwocompanies.PetriswontheprojectatercompetingwithseveralothervendorsintheRequestorProposalprocess. PetrisTRAINING ThenewAdvancedRecallDBAcoursehasbeenrewrittentobemoreoanexercise-based and hands-on experience. The course runs chronologicallythroughthecommontasksthataRecallDBAmightneedtoaddressduringtheprocessopopulatingtheRecallcorporatedatabasewithwelllogdata.Thesetasksincludemodiyingthedictionariestoensureallheaderattributesarebeingincludedandthatmnemonicmappingsandassociatedattributesareassignedcorrectly.TheRecallDoctorisalsocovered,whichillustrateshowtoassignnewdatadictionaryspecicationstoexistingRecalldatabases. Inaddition,thecoursenowcoversnewRecallunctionalityreleasedinRecall5.2.ThisincludestheRecallsecuritymodel(tabularandlelevel)andalsoasectiononthenewcoredataloadmodule.

beaverylongandarduousprocessitheorrecttoolsandrepeatablemethodologiesrenotinplace.ThiswasproventousatermajorNorthAmericanE&PimplementedPetrisDataVerasolutiontohelpcreateaWellCrossReerenceListandgenerateanall-in-cost-report onawellbywellbasisn amere 10-week period. This companyhad tried numerous projects to identiynd link wells onve separate occasions all owhichwereunsuccessul, sotheywelcomedadierentapproachtosolvetheirproblem.ThebeautyoPetrisautomateddataqualitysolutionisthatt alreadycontains pre-packaged oil and gas industry rules.Thereore,theclientcompanywasabletoeasilymodiyand
