The National Institute for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (ni-msme)(formerly nisiet) is an autonomous Institution under the Ministry of Micro,Small and Medium Enterprises, Government of India with four decades of experience in dealing with small and medium enterprises, both in publicand private sector. The Institute has been constantly expanding its activitybase in tune with the ever-changing needs of the clientele, engendered by thechanges in policies and procedures. In its relentless pursuit to offer solutionsto the enterprises, the Institute identifies and engages the best talent forproviding solutions to the enterprises in resource mobilisation, management,

organisational development, optimisation of skills, adaptation of newtechniques and systems for world class manufacturing. Directing its effortstowards maximising customer satisfaction, the Institute, of late, has beenaddressing issues like financial and management accounting, supply chainmanagement, vendor management, advanced materials management, valueanalysis and value engineering.

The Management of the Institute is in the hands of Governing Councilappointed by the Government of India. The Government Body acts through

the resident Director General, Dr. Chukka Kondaiah.
