They may choose any manual system or may carry modification to the existing applications. Project Report can be done as per the Learners Choice & in any organization, though not mandatory. Students, who wish to do their Project Report from any organization, are required to take NOC from the concerned organization, to carry out the Code of the Project done. The project covers Study of existing system & System Requirements, Analysis, Design and Coding. At the end of Semester IV, every learner has to submit the soft copy of the complete project online using Online Project Submission Link available in Student Centre. Only the soft copy of the Project documentation along with the Code of the Program should be submitted on line. Student should not send hardcopy of the project to the SCDL. Learners should submit their Project Reports as per the guidelines given by SCDL. Project Reports which are not as per the guidelines will not qualify for evaluation. Learners have to develop the code for the forms and reports designed. Project will be assessed on the basis of following: 1. • Table Design OR Detail design of classes for OOAD Method

• Input forms design

• Report Layouts (Min 5 different reports like routine, analytical, summary etc.)

4. Coding (Marks 35) � Source Code � Input data validations

A sample list of topics for PGDIT Project is provided below. This is just a suggested list and students are

free to choose any other IT project relevant to PGDIT curriculum. Students may choose any programming

language such as C, C++, JAVA, VB, .NET, PHP etc.

Please Note:

1) There is no compulsion on choosing the project and the software language for the project.

2) The networking, hardware related or configuration based projects will not be accepted.

Sample list-

• Student Information System such as enrolment process, fee status, assignment status, exams

status, degree/diploma processing. • Online examination system such as generation of question bank, questions paper, score

card etc. • IT in HR application such as payroll system, PF/GPF account maintenance, performance

appraisal, recruitment, leave management etc.

• E-commerce Sites for any Business Solutions – E-Bookstore, E-Library, online booking system

etc

• ERP in Logistics/Transportation Management • Inventory control system

• EDI for any regular Business Transactions – like Sales Order System, Purchase order system

etc • ERP system in Vendor Selection

• Bug tracking system

• Hospital Management system

• IT Maintenance/Troubleshooting like Desk Top Tracking System

• ERP in Financial Accounting.

• ERP in Manufacturing unit

• Any queries pertaining to Evaluation of Project Report:-

The students are requested to contact SCDL within 25 -30 working days after the Project marks are

reflected in performance sheet. The queries on Project evaluation received after above said timeline

will not take into consideration.

• Students are required pay applicable project Submission Fee (The D/D should be in favor of “The

Director SCDL, Pune” payable at Pune and attached the Demand Draft with duly filled Service Request

Form) on following address.
