Battle strategies

Offense

These next slides are a step by step plan on how Phantom-Arange Meadows can take over your manor.

Page 3: Phantom Arange Meadows Battle Plan

First Step

We go to the church, and go to the priest and get relics. We get the nails that nailed Jesus to the cross, Jesus’ robe, and coins that Jesus once had. This gives us God’s blessing to win the battle and more confidence going into the battle.

Second Step

Five knights dressed as serfs go into your manor. First they go to serfs and spread rumors on how Phantom-Arange meadows is very strong and how it could take over your manor easily. They also tell horrible stories about the fierce fighting tactics they have used on different kingdoms and the people in them. Then they go into the palace, saying they are looking for work and ask to speak to the lord. They tie the lord’s mouth shut and put into a sack labeled farming tools and they threaten all witnesses if they try to stop them. They then take the lord back to Phantom-Arange Meadows as a hostage and on their way out, they steal a map of your manor.

Third step

Now, when your manor is in chaos, frantically searching for your lord, we attack. We get in by using a siege tower and a battering ram, these are very easy and technological ways to get inside another manor. A siege tower is a giant wooden structure that allows many people, such as knights, to get in very quickly and easily using a set of staircases. A battering ram is a large tree trunk with a medal head that was supported with metal bands to destroy the walls of manors.

Fifth Step

Now we are in your manor. YOU SHOULD BE SCARED! Since, your lord is away so you have nothing prepared to fight against us and you have heard the rumors on how we are very strong and how we use fierce fighting techniques, you are likely to surrender. Even if you don’t (YOU SHOULD) we still have strategies to battle against you.

Since we already have your lord as hostage, we are just working for you to surrender so we use very fierce fighting techniques.

Defense

Even though our plan will work, we are still prepared for the fact that you may attack our manor. These next slides are the defensive strategies we would use if you attacked our manor.

Page 32: Phantom Arange Meadows Battle Plan

Castle Defense

Our Castle is circular shaped (concentric) , which gets rid of corners which are vulnerable to attack

Our castle is also surrounded by 25 ft. deep motes, which makes it hard for attackers to get in and prevents fire from getting to the castle. The only way to get into the castle is by the drawbridge, which would be reeled in, so no one could get across the moat.

Our castle is surrounded by 3 , 12 foot thick, curtain walls. The innermost curtain wall has towers on the top so knights can see invaders from very far away.

Our castle is also surround by loopholes, which are guarded windows where knights shoot arrows at attackers

Page 33: Phantom Arange Meadows Battle Plan

Concentric Castle

Page 34: Phantom Arange Meadows Battle Plan

Burning Grass

We spread a vast amount of dry grass many yards away from the castle and cover the grass in oil. When we see invaders coming, we set the grass on fire, killing many attackers.

Page 35: Phantom Arange Meadows Battle Plan

Throwing sand

To knights trying to climb up the curtain walls, we have towers at the top of them where knights throw sand at the climbers. The sand then knocks the knight off the wall by getting in his eyes and by getting in his armor which makes it very uncomfortable

We have covered over a step by step plan to take over your manor, the weapons and armor used, and defensive strategies in case you attack our manor.

Thank you!
