Background and Context

 

› Mr Vergessen (67 y.o.) has been a regular visitor of your pharmacy for over 10 years. You know that he is current regimen includes medication for his COPD, hypertension and osteoarthritis. He loves playing snooker at the local RSL where he enjoys a beer or two. He retired two years ago after a long career as automotive engineer and he still tinkers with cars in his garage. He has been trying to give up smoking for the past two years but hasn't succeeded yet.

› You review his medication from your computer before you visit Mr Vergessen.

› Serevent Accuhaler 50 ug ~ 1 bd

› Panamax 500 mg ~ 1-2 q6h prn

› Dolobid 500 mg ~ 1 prn

› Isoptin SR 240 mg ~ 1 m & 1/2 n

› Champix ~ mdu
