BELONGING
We welcome new disciples to our
parish communities. If you live
within our parish boundaries, which
is our mission field, then you are
already a member. It is still
important that you register at the
Parish Oce or during registration
weekends so we can communicate
with you throughout the year. We
are here to help you meet Jesus
Christ, grow in holiness, and fully
participate in a life of prayer.
Please call or stop at either parish
oce, or speak with Fr. Schuster.
We are disciples together!

DAILY MASS INTENTIONS
CHURCH HYMNALS/MISSALETTES
It will be quite a while before we return to using
hymnals at Mass due to the fact they are a shared
object. As we recover from COVID-19, we are
minimizing the number of opportunities for people to
spread the virus. The hymnals have been removed
from the church at this time. We will sing simple
hymns and chant melodies at our Liturgies.
TAKE A HYMNAL HOME WITH YOU AND
USE IT FOR THE SUNDAY READINGS.
BRING IT WITH YOU TO MASS AS WELL.
The hymnals can be found in the back of St. Mary
church, or in the cry room at Holy Trinity.
Baptism: Contact the Parish Oce. Baptisms may be
celebrated anytime inside or outside of the Mass.
Marriage: Please contact the Parish Oce at least nine
months in advance of your wedding date.
Anointing of the Sick: If you are ill, facing surgery or
hospitalization, experience an emergency, or know someone
who needs prayers or a pastoral visit, please contact the
Parish Oce 24 hours a day.
Confessions: Saturdays: 3:00pm (SM), 7:00pm (HT). You
may request a priest any time that you are moved to seek the
mercy of Jesus in this Sacrament.
Becoming Catholic: Inquiries into the Catholic faith are
accepted year-round. All are welcome to inquire.
Prayer Requests: If you know someone who is ill, we would
like to pray for them. Please call either Parish Oce.
Nursing Homes: Masses at nursing homes have been
suspended until further notice.
Annulments: To seek healing for a failed marriage, or to
rectify marriages celebrated outside of the Church, contact
Fr. Schuster and set up a meeting.
FIRST COMMUNION 2020
Dear First Communicants:
As fellow disciples of Jesus Christ in the Catholic
Church, we are praying for you on the day of your
First Holy Communion. Pease always remember:
1. Jesus is God! He walked on this earth and died
so you can be free from sin and death.
2. Jesus promised to be with you always.
3. Jesus keeps his promise in the Eucharist just
like he told us he would in the Holy Bible.
4. The Eucharist is the Real Presence of Jesus.
5. Always come to Communion with a clean heart.

SPIRITUAL COMMUNION
To Be Prayed Sundays or Daily
My Jesus,
I believe that You are present
in the Most Holy Sacrament.
I love You above all things,
and I desire to receive You
into my soul.
Since I cannot at this moment
receive You sacramentally,
come at least spiritually
into my heart.
I embrace You as if
You were already there
and unite myself wholly to You.
Never permit me to be
separated from You. Amen.
Did you receive Fr. Schuster’s letter
in the mail this week? If you did not,
we might not have your information
in our parish database! Please call
920.845.2056 and give us your info.
WEEKLY HIGHLIGHTS
Our Catholic belief in the Real Presence of Jesus Christ in the
Most Holy Eucharist is our defining mark. This belief has made
Catholic Christians distinct since the very beginning of
Christianity. Our belief is very biblical. Already in the 2nd
century, the earliest writers were talking about the Eucharist
in the same ways that we do in our Catechism today. The
Eucharist is not just a symbol, a remembrance, a wafer, some
wine, or a reenactment of the Last Supper. The Eucharist is
the fruit of the Mass and is the center of our lives as disciples.
Today we are reminded that the Eucharist is not a stand-
alone reality. Some people claim to believe in the Real
Presence but do not believe in everything else that Jesus
revealed which is connected to the Eucharist. For the
Eucharist to be the Real Presence, you need the Holy Spirit,
the priesthood, the Church, Baptism, Confession, and Mary
too! It is all interconnected. To leave the Church and go
looking for another “denomination” actually means, “I do not
believe in the Real Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist.”
When it comes to believing in a revealed faith like Catholic
Christianity, we either take everything or we take nothing.
When worthily receiving the Eucharist, we enter into Holy
Communion. Did you ever think about the word
“communion” before? It means to be in union, or to be one.
Communion means that you are one with God; and this
brings peace. If you never ponder “being one with God”,
then you cannot be aware, and you cannot enjoy the peace.
A recent survey found only 1/3 of Catholics believe in the
Real Presence in the way that Jesus revealed it! What does
that man? It means the other 2/3’s are either unaware, or
that they have created their own religion and just kept
going through the motions here at our churches. Why
belong to a parish for any other purpose than seeking
communion with God?
The words I have written are a challenge! Do you believe? Why?
Good St. Joseph,
As you led the Holy Family,
watch over our families.
Help our family and all families
to know and share God’s love.
In our family relationships, may we find
healing and seek to be holy.
May our fathers help us to become
faithful disciples of Jesus
who share our love for Him.
As foster father of Jesus,
watch over all who serve
as spiritual fathers.
In a special way,
bless our Holy Father,
our Bishop, and our priests.
May they follow your humble example
in their fatherly care
for the people of God, the Church.
With Mary, you raised Jesus
the High Priest.
You know our need for priests.
Please raise up good and holy priests from
our families to serve the people
of our diocese.
May our children and grandchildren hear and
say “yes” to the call of Jesus,
just as you and Mary did.
Good St. Joseph, pray for us.
