PHASE I WEB SUMMARY MFA Grain Silos 310 E Phelps; 524 N Boonville; and 430 N Boonville Springfield, Greene County, MO Site Description The site consists of three parcels located at the intersection N. Boonville Avenue and N. Robberson Avenue with Phelps Street, Springfield, Greene County, Missouri and is approximately 0.80 acres in total. The current site is not-occupied but includes two Grain Silos and associated grain elevators, a retired rail spur, vacant electric substation and gravel drive as listed below. Area A: 310 E Phelps - Improved by 14 grain silos and associated grain elevator. Area B: 524 N Boonville - Improved by 8 grain silos and associated grain elevator and railroad tracks. Area C: 430 N Boonville - Improved by a vacant substation, retired rail road tracks and a gravel drive way. Based on review of historical information, the site has been predominantly used for commercial use until the construction of the Grain Silos and associated rail spur in 1950. Historical use of the silos include the storage of grain until the mills closure in 2000. Environmental Assessment Findings Terracon Consultants, Inc. completed a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) on the property in December 2015. The Phase I identified no recognized environmental conditions (RECs).
