• Year it was made: 1915• History: In WW1 the German army was using

chlorine gas to poison allied soldiers and it was becoming a big problem.

• Description: One exalting tube and inside the tube were chemical sorbents materials.

• Functions: the gas mask’s chemical sorbents materials absorb the chemicals when there is gas in the air.

• Today the gas mask is still used in war zones like in Afghanistan.

• Dr. Cluny got many awards in his life like: an honorary degree by Memorial University (1962) and he was President of the Medical Council of Canada from 1954-1955.
