The trip was also organized with the intention to introduce and indulge the students into the culture of world

fashion by visiting two fashion capitals of the world, namely, Milan and Paris, during respective fashion weeks, and Florence, the cultural capital of Italy which also houses the museum of iconic fashion brand Gucci's highly acclaimed museum.

The purpose of the trip was to introduce the students to foreign universities which have collaborations with UID, namely Domus, NABA, Polimoda and Istituto Marangoni. The students visited the campuses and labs of these universities, where they interacted with students and faculty members, to give rise to future prospects.

The main places visited were DOMUS ACADEMY & NABA, FONDAZIONE PRADA, MILAN FASHION WEEK , G A L L E R I A D 'A R T E M O D E R N A , TRIENNALE DE MILANO, GALLERIA VITTORIO EMANUELLE II & MILAN

DUOMO AREA, MILAN CATHEDRAL, GUCCI GARDEN, MUSEO FERRAGAMO, DUOMO DI FIRENZE, POLIMODA, ISTITUTO MARANGONI, PITTI PALACE, GALLERIA DELLA ACADEMIA, PONTE VECCHIO, SEINE RIVER CRUISE, EIFFEL TO W E R , AV E N U E M O N TA I G N E , CHAMPS ELYSEES, LOUVRE MUSEUM, CRETEIL SOLEIL.

Selected students from the School of Fashion Design at UID, accompanied by faculty member Pritam Saha, went for an international study trip to Milan, Florence and Paris from February 22nd to March 1st, 2019.

A visit to Avenue Montaigne and Champs Elysses in Paris was a must fashion retail experience that the students had and enriched their knowledge manifold.

Over all the trip was immensely successful and the students had a great experience, which they shared with the community.
