MATHEMATICIANS IN KERALA ANSHA RANEEN - 7A Some famous Mathem

aticians like Bhaskarajarya, Neelakanda Swamiji and Ka-dasseri Parameswaran Nam-boodiri lived in Kerala. Bhaskarajarya who lived in 1114 AD was also known to be Keralite Mathematician. His main works are Leelavathi, Siddhanda Shiromani, Aryabattium, Mahab-haskarium, Laghu bhaskarium etc. He is known as Indian Euclid or father of Geometry.

In 17th century western country mathematicians dis-cussed about the value pie and found that it is not a frac-tion. But before that in 15th century Neelakanda Swamiraj explained it. Neelakanda Swa-miraj lived in 1464 AD at Tirur, Malappuram Dist. of Kerala. His brother Shankaran is an Astron-omist. Thandra’s Samagraham it is an astronomic book which describes about circumference

arch, cosine, sine which are used in Astronomic studies. Vadasseri Parameswaram Namboodiri lived in 1431 at Tirur, Malappuram District in Kerala. He was an Astronomist. He researched for around 55 years in that field.

O3 or the Ozone is not such a simple roof. It has its own pecu-liarity and importance. Friends! Have you ever thought that the simple refrigerators and Air Conditioners can also harm us? If you are thinking that these are only giving advantages for us, just reject that thought. Ozone (O3) is formed when with the O2 or Oxygen com-bines with another O or Oxygen atom. This is a continuous proc-ess, thus it will go on like O3 + O = 2O2. Now from these O2 + O2 the process continues and we can understand that the rate of re-action is same for both.O2 + O = O3O3 + O = 2O2 both of these are happening continuously. Chlorine from CFC and Bro-mine from Halone catalyze the

OZONE - THE PROTECTORsecond process thus more O2 are made than O3. This is how the Ozone depletion happens. Here as O2 is produced more, the ozone balance would be re-duced. Ozone depletion is being done either by your refrigerator or A/C which gives out CFC, so better be cautious!

I saw the sun havinga peep from Blue OceanControlling its brightest passionI saw the fog being fledWhen the glossy rays come over them

The buds slowly opened their faceMaking sure that there are no brutal plansTheir glistering face made my little gardenGlorious one among all…

The kitchen of the trees set to workIn the greenly NourishmentThe greenery of leaves woke upMaking the earth unique.I thought in my vast imaginationHow can that be? Just thenI heard cocks of dozenFrom where I got all the answer

Children like video games. But we don’t know it makes us fools. My father will always delete games but I will again download it. We should play games like cutting fruits, spell-ing games etc. Shooting games may spoil our brain. We use mo-bile phones of parents. It is not to play games, but it is to make phone calls or send messages.
