At the beginning of our short film we included a establishing shot of the city to try and set the scene. This sets the mood for our short film before any events are shown. for our audience.

We used a various amount of shots such as, in this shot above, we used a close up shot of what our main character is doing whilst in the background we can see how his girlfriend is feeling through her facial expression.

We used this shot to demonstrate how all of the actors are in the room at the same time. Also, we could see the main characters facial expressions through the reflection. This also allows the audience to get to know each and every one of the characters. This foreshadows what may occur in later events.

We included a scene like to this to give the audience an idea of what kind of character Jordan is. We also wanted to give the audience a reaction by Lina to find out what she will end up doing. This gets the audience more involved with our short film and may also be able to relate to it which may make it even more interesting for them.

Following the text message we included a mid-shot of the couple to show both of their emotions through their facial expressions. This is to get the audience being able to get into the actors shoes and feel what they may be feeling.

Near to the middle of our short film we included a split scene between both main characters and their friends. This was to demonstrate how both characters felt about their current situations. It shows a contrast between both character’s feelings which gives the audience a clearer insight on how they both feel.

In this scene we used low angle and close up shots to exaggerate the mood for the audience. This is to show how the dilemma was building up. As our character is standing in a provocative way, it foreshadows that something suspicious may occur between both characters,

A mid shot was used in this scene to show how both of the characters are communicating with each other. It lets the audience see how they are starting to get closer to each other as well as being able to hear how they are flirting with each other.

As Jordan walks in on the two characters, we used a close up shot to demonstrate how Zac was feeling. From his facial expressions we can see that Zac was not expecting Jordan to walk in and we can see how Zac feels guilt just by his facial expression. This allows the audience to get a reaction from the film which will interest them more.

In this scene we used over the shoulder shots to see how Zac and Lina react when Jordan is talking to them. We can also see how Jordan reacts when Zac tries to reassure him that nothing went on. This builds up suspense for the audience as they would be intrigued to see what happens next.
