Photography plan This is my overall photography plan which discuss

what type of images will be on each page.

Front cover On my front cover the main image will

be a close up or mid shot; this is the most effective shot type that could be used because it focuses on the artists face more. Also it displays part of their outfit, creating a use of mise-en scene to appeal to the target audience.

The costume that the artist would wear on the front cover is the latest fashions; this would make the artist effective because it would attract them to the cover, due to the attraction of the fashion style.

Contents page

On the contents page, ill have a main image which isn’t as big as the front cover but still a reasonable size to stand out to the audience. The main image on the contents page will be an empowering image of a well-known artist (person) that would be represented as a stereotypical pop artist. For example positive attributes, bright clouded, and quite girly.

Also I would include various smaller images of things such as clothing and beauty products and possibly artist to break up the text and make the page more interesting.

Double page spreadFor the double page spread I will

use one main image for the whole double page spread. The image will fill the majority of the left hand side of the article as this is a convention used in music magazines.

This image may be a medium/long shot of the person/artist. This would be most effective for the double page spread because the image would be covering up the whole of one side of the magazine so rather than having a big close up, a medium or long shot would be more effective.
